Plot
A Los Angeles high-school teacher, Alan Avery, finds himself thrust into a dangerous and life-altering situation when he inadvertently becomes a witness to a brutal gangland murder. While walking home one evening, he stumbles upon a violent confrontation between rival gang members that ends in a killing. Despite his initial hesitation, Alan decides to cooperate with the authorities and agrees to testify against the perpetrators, believing it to be the right thing to do.
Unbeknownst to him, this decision sets off a chain of events that puts his life and the lives of those he loves in grave danger. The criminal underworld, determined to silence him, begins to target Alan and his family, using intimidation, threats, and violence to dissuade him from testifying. As the pressure mounts, Alan must navigate the moral and ethical dilemmas of his choice while trying to protect his wife, Edie, and their future.
