Galbandi

Galbandi (Nepali: गलबन्दी च्यातियो) is a Nepali folk song by singer and songwriter Prakash Saput, released in 2019.[1] Performed as a duet with Shanti Shree Pariyar, the song blends traditional Nepali folk rhythms with a contemporary arrangement. It tells a romantic story set in rural Nepal, centered around the symbolic galbandi, a traditional necklace worn by women.[2][3] [4]

The music video features Prakash Saput and actress Anjali Adhikari, and was praised for its depiction of village life and good storytelling. Its emotional narrative, paired with melodic instrumentation, helped the song resonate widely with audiences across Nepal.[5][6]
