Gębałka [ɡɛmˈbau̯ka] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Pozezdrze, within Węgorzewo County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 9 km (6 mi) north-east of Pozezdrze, 13 km (8 mi) east of Węgorzewo, and 105 km (65 mi) north-east of the regional capital Olsztyn. It is located in Masuria.[2]
The village was founded in 1562 by Jan Sikora.[3] It was historically known in Polish as Gębałka and Gębałówka.[3]
