Góry [ˈɡurɨ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Budry, within Węgorzewo County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland, close to the border with the Kaliningrad Oblast of Russia.[1] It is located in the region of Masuria.[2] It lies approximately 13 km (8 mi) north-west of Budry, 12 km (7 mi) north of Węgorzewo, and 100 km (62 mi) north-east of the regional capital Olsztyn.
Góry was established in 1548 by Jakub Bartnikowicz, who bought land to establish the village.[3]
