Fujian Institute of Socialism
Fujian Institute of Socialism (Chinese: 福建省社会主义学院) is a political institution of a united front character, operating under the auspices of the CCP Fujian Provincial Committee, and serves as a crucial component of the united front education and training framework for personnel and cadres. The institute is located in Shangjie Town, Minhou County, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province, China.
History
The Fujian Political Science School, as the antecedent of the Fujian Institute of Socialism, was established in May 1960, rebranded as Fujian Political Science College in April 1964, and subsequently renamed Fujian Socialist College in March 1965.[1] In September 1999, Fujian Chinese Culture College was founded. In September 1999, the Fujian Provincial Institute of Chinese Culture was founded, characterized by "One institution with two names."[2] The institute operates under the province party committee, overseeing public servant management at the departmental level. In August 2024, the institute relocated to a new campus in Shangjie Town, Minhou County, encompassing 103.84 acres, with a total construction area of 52,870 square meters and an investment of 510 million yuan, capable of accommodating 400 trainees simultaneously for boarding and training.[3]
