Friguia Park is a zoological park in Tunisia,[1] located near the town of Bouficha,[2] approximately 70 km south of Tunis and 25 km north of Sousse.[3] The park was inaugurated on November 11, 2000 and covers an area of 36 hectares.[2][4][5]

Description

Friguia Park is home to around 400 animals representing 62 different species, including mammals, birds, and reptiles.[5][6]

Attractions

  • Dolphinarium: Friguia Park included a dolphinarium where dolphins and sea lions performed for visitors.[5] Closed in 2016.
