The Four Brothers Alliance is a coalition of Rohingya militias compromising the Rohingya Solidarity Organisation (RSO), Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army (ARSA), the Rohingya Islami Mahaz and the Arakan Rohingya Army (ARA).[1] It is being led by Dil Muhammad according to Bangladeshi sources.[2]
The group is allegedly a proxy of Pakistan. However, there is no evidence. The main goal of this organisation is to fight for Rohingya minority rights.[3]
Activities
In February, the forces fought against Arakan Army in North Maungdaw with a group of 300-400 militants. The Arakan Army attempted to remove insurgents from Northern side of Maungdaw but Rohingya militants continued the insurgency.[4]
