"Flowers for the Queen" is a 1958 British television play starring Tony Wright.[1][2] It was based on a true story.[3]

Plot

A British pilot in the war crashes in Holland and brings back a dutch daffodil.

Reception

The Daily Telegraph felt it "fell well short... the story not only failed to hold the interest but failed to provide a single part worth playing."[4]

The Evening Chronicle called it "a good play."[5]
