Occurrence of the Flat Rock Cove Formation in southeastern Newfoundland

The Flat Rock Cove Formation is an Ediacaran formation cropping out in Newfoundland. It has 2 members, which are as follows:

- Piccos Brook Member : The upper of the 2 members, consists of breccia and red muddy sandstone.

- Knobby Hill Member : The lower of the 2 members, consists of gray conglomerates and siltstones.
