Everton’s 1891–92 season was the club’s fourth campaign in the Football League. Managed by Dick Molyneux, Everton competed in the First Division, finishing 5th out of 14 teams, with a record of 12 wins, 4 draws and 10 losses, scoring and conceding 49 goals for a total of 28 points. Alex Latta was the club’s top scorer, netting 17 league goals. The season also saw Everton move from Anfield to their new home, Goodison Park, following a dispute with landlord John Houlding in March 1892. In the FA Cup, the team was knocked out in the first round by Burnley. The average league attendance was around 11,200, peaking at 16,000 for matches against Preston North End and Sunderland.
Note: Flags indicate national team as defined under FIFA eligibility rules; some limited exceptions apply. Players may hold more than one non-FIFA nationality.
