The European Banking Federation (EBF) is a trade association representing national banking associations in countries of the European Union and the European Free Trade Association. It represents over 3,500 banks and about 2.6 million employees. It was established in 1960 as the Fédération bancaire européenne.[2]

At the same date, ten countries had associate status: Albania, Andorra, Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, Serbia and Turkey.
