Electoral redistricting in France
France has redrawn its electoral constituency boundaries 12 times, starting in 1820, with the most recent redistricting in 2010.
The first boundaries were drawn up in 1820, with redistricting taking place in 1831, 1852, 1857, 1862, 1867, 1875, 1879, 1927, 1958, 1986, and 2010.
Redistributions are currently the responsibility of the Constitutional Council of France.
