Dhurandhar (transl. Stalwart) is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language action thriller film written, directed and co-produced by Aditya Dhar. The film is produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Aditya Dhar and Lokesh Dhar under the banners Jio Studios and B62 Studios. It stars Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Akshaye Khanna, and Sara Arjun.[1][2] Set against the backdrop of a high-stakes intelligence operation, the narrative follows a covert agent navigating complex political conspiracies, national security threats, and personal dilemmas, blending action with themes of loyalty, sacrifice, and deception.[3]
Dhurandhar is scheduled to release on 5 December 2025.[4]
Premise
Set in the world of Indian intelligence, Dhurandhar follows a covert officer on a high-stakes mission rooted in historical events. The film blends high-octane action sequences, Shakespearean betrayals, and intricate espionage tradecraft, centered on the lives of the unknown men and infused with themes of unwavering patriotism.

Principal photography began in late 2024 and took place across multiple international locations and concluded in Amritsar in April 2025.[5]
Music
The film's music is composed by Shashwat Sachdev while lyrics are written by Kumaar.[6]
The song "Na De Dil Pardesi Nu" was a remake of 1995 famous Panjabi song by Muhammad Sadiq and Ranjit Kaur, composed by Charanjit Ahuja and written by Babu Singh Mann.[7] Later 2003 remixed by Panjabi MC as "Jogi").[8]

Marketing
The first-look poster was released on 6 July 2025, coinciding with Ranveer Singh’s 40th birthday. A teaser was unveiled the same day,[4] featuring vocals by Jasmine Sandlas. The soundtrack includes a rap segment by Hanumankind, a contemporary artist known for his genre-blending musical style.[9] A behind-the-scenes video featuring Ranveer Singh and Sanjay Dutt also surfaced online, garnering significant attention from fans.[10]
Release
Dhurandhar is scheduled for a theatrical release on 5 December 2025.[4][11]
