Derivan

Derivan Pty Ltd. is an Australian manufacturer of water based acrylic paints, inks and other art supplies based in Sydney, Australia.^[1][2][3][4]

The company was originally registered as Vynol Paints Pty Ltd. in 1958.^[5][6] Based in Sydney, Australia, it officially began operating under the name Derivan in 1964.^{[7][8][9][10]}

During the 1960s, it became the first company to introduce student-grade acrylic paints in Australia. In the 1970s, Derivan began producing non-toxic screen inks, block inks, and face and body paint. In the late 1980s, the company launched its Matisse range of acrylic paints.^{[11][12][7][13][14]}
