Damir Javor (born 8 August 1971) is a Slovenian professional basketball referee.

He began officiating professionally in Slovenia in 1997 and became a licensed international referee with FIBA in 2000.[1] Since 2007, he has also been a regular referee in the EuroLeague.[2]

Refereeing career

Javor began his career in domestic Slovenian competitions before becoming an international referee in 2000.[1] Over the years, he has officiated in major FIBA events including the FIBA Basketball World Cup, EuroBasket, and various Olympic qualifying tournaments.[1]

He joined the EuroLeague officiating crew in 2007,[2] and has been selected for numerous high-stakes matches including playoffs and Final Four games. As of 2025, he remains among the longest-serving and most experienced referees on the international circuit.[3]
