"Crashing" is a song by American singer-songwriters D4vd and Kali Uchis. It was released on February 28, 2025, through Interscope Records, as the third single from Burke's studio album Withered.
Background and composition
The music video for "Crashing" was directed by Kenneth Cappello, and released on alongside the song.[1] The song features Kali Uchis,[2][3][4] whom got on the song following an instagram live.[5] D4vd released a teaser for Crashing.[2] The song is classified as a ballad.[6][7]
Critical reception
Writing for BroadwayWorld, Josh Sharpe pointed out that the song offers a sense of "self-assertive relaxation" before a catastrophe.[8]
