Aidan Chong Tsun (Chinese: 莊晉; born 7 December 2008) is a Hong Kong professional footballer who currently plays as a winger for Hong Kong Premier League club Southern.[1][2]
Club career
On 11 July 2024, Southern announced the promotion of young Aidan at age 15, breaking club records as the youngest ever professional to sign with the club.[3][4][5] He would soon make his debut in a 3–0 Senior Shield victory over Kowloon City, becoming the club's youngest debutant at 15 years 9 months and a day.[6] Chong made his first start for the club in the 1–0 semi-final victory over Eastern, only to be replaced in the 35th minute in tears as his team would go on to claim a Sapling Cup final spot.[7] Chong ended the season aiding his club to lift their second Sapling Cup trophy.[8]
