Chaiyamparwaan Manpianjit

Chaiyamparwaan Manpianjit is a Thai member of parliament representing Bangkok for the Thai Progress Party.

Parliamentary career

Chaiyamparwaan was a member of the Move Forward Party in 2023. He was expelled from the party amid sexual misconduct allegations.[1]

Chaiyamparwaan was accused of rape by a tourist from Taiwan in January, 2025. The tourist said Chaiyamparwaan raped her in Chiang Mai, and police sought Chaiyamparwaan's arrest in early February, 2025.[2] Chaiyamparwaan turned himself in to police for questioning in late February and denied the allegations against him.[3]
