Central Pictures is an American independent film production company founded by Josh Safdie, Ronald Bronstein and Eli Bush.

History

In October 2024, it was reported Josh Safdie, Ronald Bronstein and Eli Bush would start a new production company.[1] Josh Safdie and Ronald Bronstein were previously founders of Elara Pictures.[2]

They co-produced The Land of Nod, a horror film directed by Kyle Edward Ball that will be distributed by A24.[3][4]

In 2024, they produced Marty Supreme, a sports comedy-drama film directed by Josh Safdie and co-written with Ronald Bronstein. It is being released on December 25, 2025 and distributed by A24. It is A24's highest budget film ever at $70 million.[5]

They produced If I Had Legs I'd Kick You, directed by Mary Bronstein.[6] It premiered at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival.[7][6][8]In February, 2025, it played at the 75th Berlin International Film Festival[9] where Rose Byrn won the Silver Bear for Best Leading Performance.[10]

in February 2025, it was reported they would produce the film Deep Cuts, directed by Sean Durkin.[11]
