History

The Calvó-Armengol International Prize is awarded every two years by the Barcelona School of Economics (BSE) in cooperation with the Government of Andorra. It was first awarded in 2010.[2] It is presented to "a top researcher in economics or the social sciences younger than 40 years old for his or her contribution to the theory and comprehension of the mechanisms of social interaction."[2] Nominations are called for, and the winner is selected by a committee appointed by BSE.[2]
