The CAVA Men's Volleyball Nations League is an international volleyball competition in Central and South Asia contested by the senior men's national teams of the members of Central Asian Zonal Volleyball Association (CAVA), the sport's regional governing body.
History
Before its name became CAVA Nations League, this tournament was named AVC Asian Senior Men's Central Zone Volleyball Championship.[1]
In 2022, the tournament were held in Lahore, Pakistan from 24–29 November 2022.[2] The host nation, Pakistan, claimed their first title in tournament.[3]
In 2023 CAVA rebrand the tournament's name into CAVA Nations League which were held in Cholpon-Ata, Kyrgyzstan. Iran crowned the first title.[4]
In 2024, the tournament were held in Islamabad, Pakistan. The host nation, Pakistan, claimed their second title in tournament.
In 2025 the tournament, originally scheduled in Islamabad. However, during CAVA’s Annual General Meeting in Nepal on 25 April, multiple member nations reportedly expressed hesitation about travelling to Pakistan under the current climate. With India’s formal withdrawal due to safety considerations, the tournament was later held in Fergana, Uzbekistan and Iran claimed their second title in tournament.[5]
