C.P.D. Gronant is a Welsh football club based in Gronant, Flintshire. The team currently plays in the North Wales Coast East Division One.
The club was founded in 2018 as Llanelwy Athletic, based in St Asaph. In 2022, the club renamed to C.P.D. Gronant. This also saw them move from the North Wales Coast East Football League to the North East Wales Football League.[1][2]
They have competed in the Welsh Cup, getting to the first round in 2021–22, where they lost to Berriew.[3]
The club announced they would leave the North East Wales Football League after the 2024–25 season.[4]
In 2025 the club rejoined the North Wales Coast East Football League, as Dunes FC,[5] but withdrew during pre-season.[6]
