Baba Budhanath Temple also known as Vriddheshwarnath Temple is a Hindu temple devoted to Lord Shiva (Budhanath) and is situated on the Bank of River Ganga at Jogsar, Adampur, Bhagalpur, Bihar, India.
Etymology
Budhanath or Bal Vridheswarnath is one of 108 Nath in India.
It is mentioned in the twelfth chapter of Shiva Purana.[1]
How to reach
Budhanath Temple is 1.6 km from Bhagalpur Railway Station. Visitors can reach Budhanath via Train to Bhagalpur Junction in 10–20 minutes. From Bhagalpur junction they can reach Budhanath Mandir via Khalifabagh Market Road and Budhanath Road.
Deoghar Airport is the nearest functional airport to Budhanath predecessor of Patna Airport.
