History

Bubbaloo was the first bubblegum with a liquid center and made its debut in Mexican and Brazilian markets during the early-1980s. Today, Bubbaloo is sold in more than 25 countries and in three different continents across the world.

In Mexico and Brazil –the two biggest markets for Bubbaloo, the brand is one of the most iconic and recognisable across all product categories and continues to be the number one bubblegum for children, teens and adults who love the combination of sweet textures, flavors, and colors.

In addition, Bubba The Cat (the longtime brand icon and mascot), is known for being creative, original, ingenious and intelligent.

Bubbaloo launched in India in 2007.[1]

In 2022, Mondelez sold their Bubbaloo gum brand, along with all of their other chewing gum brands operating in the United States, Canada and Europe to Perfetti Van Melle.[2] Mondelez still retains ownership of the brand in Latin America and other emerging markets.
