Brodec (Macedonian: Бродец, Albanian: Brodec) is a village in the municipality of Tetovo, North Macedonia.

Demographics

According to the Bulgarian ethnographer Vasil Kanchov in 1900, the village of Brodec was inhabited by 165 Muslim Albanians.[1]

According to the Bulgarian ethnographer Dimitar Gadžanov, in 1916 Brodec was inhabited by 380 Muslim Bulgarians.[2]

According to the 1942 Albanian census, Brodec was inhabited by 548 Muslim Albanians.[3]

According to the 2021 census, the village had a total of 734 inhabitants.[4] Ethnic groups in the village include:[4]
