"Bonde do Brunão" is a song by American singer-songwriter Bruno Mars. It was released on June 18, 2025, through Atlantic Records. Written by Mars alongside Jeremy Reeves, Jonathan Yip and Ray Romulus. The single was produced by Mars and The Stereotypes. The song officially impacted Italian radio on the aforementioned date.
Background
"Bonde do Brunão" was used as part of the promotion for the 15 shows Mars played in Brazil in 2024 in five different cities. The song was first made available on Mars's TikTok profile after his shows in Brazil. The song became viral, with over 13 million likes, 2 million shares and 687 thousand comments beside various creations on TikTok and Reels.[1][2]
In June 2025, it was announced that he would appear as the Fortnite Festival featured artist for Season 9.[2] This marks his second appearance on the game since he appeared in the Battle Royale in 2021 as a part of Silk Sonic.[1] To commemorate the single "Bonde do Brunão" officially premiered via Fortnite on June 18, 2025.[1][2] It was issued on all digital platforms by Atlantic Records.[2]
