Bharat Mihir
Bharat Mihir was an Indian publishing company and newspaper which published in Bengal during the colonial British Raj. It had branches in Calcutta[1] and Mymensingh (now in Bangladesh). It was banned by the 1878 Vernacular Press Act of the British government. Bharat Mihir played a crucial role in disseminating information and fostering public opinion against colonial policies. Its bold and critical reporting made it a significant voice for the Indian populace. [2]
