Bhagwal[1] is a village situated in the Chakwal District of Punjab, Pakistan. located approximately 97 kilometers far away from national capital Islamabad, it lies at coordinates 33°4′31″N 72°35′45″E, with an elevation of 432 meters above sea level. Bhagwal is located near several other villages, including Khara, Sohair, Gah, Ranjha, Patalian, Roopwal, Chawali Marath, and Karsal.[2]
Economy
Agriculture is the backbone of village economy, with residents cultivating crops such as wheat, maize, rice, sugarcane, and various vegetables. The fertile land supports these agricultural activities, contributing to the village's livelihood. Many individuals went to abroad for work.

- Ayaz Amir: renowned journalist and former Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA)
- Farooq Ahmed Haveli-Wala: Primary school teacher and a Local Politician (retd). More commonly known as "Peer Farooq" due to his devotion to the religion. Haveli-Wala is a term that is used for this family because their ancestors (Kassar Mughals) constructed a Haveli like Fort to protect their families from Sikh raids during their rule.
