Shiver is an upcoming American survival thriller film written and directed by Tommy Wirkola. It stars Phoebe Dynevor, Whitney Peak, and Djimon Hounsou.
The film will be released on July 3, 2026.
Cast
Production
In May 2024, Columbia Pictures was developing a survival thriller film titled Beneath the Storm with Tommy Wirkola writing and directing, and Phoebe Dynevor cast in the lead role.[1] In August, principal photography began in Australia, when Whitney Peak and Djimon Hounsou joined the cast.[2]
In March 2025, the film was renamed to Shiver.[3]
Release
Shiver is scheduled to be released in the United States on July 3, 2026.[3] It was originally scheduled to be released on August 1, 2025.[2]
