Arina Gvozdetskaia (born 1 October 2008) is a Russian born Israeli rhythmic gymnast.[1] She represents Israel as a member of the group.
Career
In 2018 Gvozdetskaia, then still competing with Novosibirsk Olympic Reserve School, competed at the 3rd DuGymCup in Dubai.[2] She is Master of Sports of Russia.[3] In February 2024 she was part of the team that won silver at Siberian Federal District Championships.[4][5]
She moved from Russia to Israel in the summer of 2024, following relatives that already lived in the country.[6]
In 2025 she was granted Israeli citizenship and was incorporated into the new national senior group, after all the gymnasts that competed at the Paris Olympics retired.[7] At the World Cup in Baku they were 4th in the All-Around, 8th with 3 ribbons & 2 hoops, winning silver with 5 ribbons.[8][9] In May competing at the European Cup stage in Burgas along Maya Gamliel, Agam Gev, Kristina Eilon Ternovski, Varvara Salenkova and Lian Suharevich, she won gold with 5 hoops.[10]
