Andy Gan Lai Chiang (Chinese: 颜来章; born 1948) is a Singaporean politician who was elected to the Parliament of Singapore in the 2001 general election. He represented the Marine Parade GRC as a member of the People's Action Party.[1]

Career

Gan first stood in the 1991 general election and 1997 general election[2] in Potong Pasir SMC and lost to Chiam See Tong. In the 2001 election, he ran in Marine Parade GRC and won the election because of a walkover. He retired from politics in the 2006 general election.

Early life

A great-great-grandson of Gan Eng Seng, Gan was educated at Kwong Avenue School, Victoria School, Singapore Polytechnic and the University of Western Australia.[3]
