Amrapali Gan is an Indian-American businesswoman. In December 2021, she was appointed as CEO of OnlyFans, which she joined in September 2020 as Chief Marketing and Communications Officer.[1][2][3][4][5] She succeeded founding CEO Tim Stokely.[1][2]
While CEO of OnlyFans, Gan made decisions about whether the company would host sexually explicit material,[6] because of concerns that the site was exploiting women. Gan sought to establish a safe space for creators of explicit material,[7] while not conducting illegal activity.[8] She stepped down in July 2023 being replaced by Keily Blair.[9]
She has previously worked for Red Bull and Quest Nutrition,[1] and a cannabis cafe in West Hollywood.[10]
Early life
Gan was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India in 1984 or 1985,[11] and grew up in Virginia, USA.[8] She is a graduate of California State University, Los Angeles.[12]
