Alexandra Agoston-O'Connor, known professionally as Alexandra Agoston,[5] is an Australian fashion model.

High fashion model and Artist Alexandra Agoston started her Modelling Career working with Comme des Garçons, John Galliano for Dior, Maison Martin Margiela, Yohji Yamamoto, and Jean Paul Gaultier.  Inspired by these incredible artists Alexandra fell in love with the creative expression of the Fashion Industry, and expresses her own point of view through Painting, Drawing and Photography.

Alexandra has graced the covers of Vogue, worked with the industry's leading photographers including Inez and Vinoodh, Paolo Roversi, Craig Mc Dean, Chris Colls and Steven Klein for publications such as French Vogue, Interview, W magazine, Italian Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, and Holiday Magazine. As a Muse of Rei Kawakubo and Jean Paul Gaultier Alexandra had been featured at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York  "Comme des Garcons: Art of the Inbetween" as well as the global exhibition of  "The Fashion World of Jean Paul Gaultier."  

Alexandra is an Ambassador to Oneland, an Arts and Environmental Foundation supporting remote Indigenous communities in Australia, and advocating for global education on Indigenous Culture. Alexandra is also the Ambassador to Parley, for the Oceans, a global network of creators, thinkers and leaders taking action to protect our oceans.

Career

Agoston is of Hungarian, Irish, English, and Austrian descent. She was discovered in Paris while on holiday with her family.[7]

Her first modelling jobs were for Proenza Schouler, Monique Lhuillier, Christian Lacroix, Elie Saab, Armani Privé, Dior,[8] Comme des Garçons and Jean-Paul Gaultier.[9] She's also walked for Naeem Khan, Badgley Mischka, John Galliano, Off-White, Christian Siriano, and David Jones.

She is considered to be Gaultier's muse.[10]

Agoston has been the face of Kookai.[11]

Personal life

Agoston is in a relationship and has two children with photographer Chris Colls.[12]
