Muhammad Akid bin Mohd Zamri (born 13 February 2005) is a Malaysian professional footballer who plays as a Left Winger for Malaysia Super League club Penang and the Malaysia national team.
Early life
Akid developed through the youth system at Penang, representing Penang II before being promoted to the Penang senior squad in early 2025.[1]
Club Career
Penang FC
He made his senior debut for Penang on 25 January 2025 in a 1–1 draw against Selangor.[2] He scored his first Malaysia Super League goal in a 3–2 away victory against Sri Pahang on 19 April 2025.[3]
International career
Akid represented Malaysia U16 during the 2020 AFC U-16 Championship . He earned three caps and scored two goals.[4]
Style of play
Akid is known for his pace, dribbling, and ability to operate effectively on the left wing. Though relatively short in stature, he uses agility and technique to beat defenders and create chances.[5]
