Major General Adnan Asif Jah Shad HI(M) is a two-star senior officer in the Pakistan Army and currently serves as the Director General of the Airports Security Force (ASF).[1]

Military career

Adnan Asif Jah Shad was commissioned into the 14 Frontier Force Regiment.[2]

He was promoted to the rank of Major General in 2018.[3][4] He served as General officer commanding of the 26th Mechanized Division.[5] He also had his tenure as Defence attaché to Germany and Director General Personnel Administration. As per 2025, he is serving as Director General of the Airports Security Force.[6][7] As DG ASF, he has been praised by senior appointments of the Pakistan Army for his efforts to increase security at the airports.[8]

He has been awarded with Hilal-i-Imtiaz for his service in the army from the President of Pakistan.[9]
