Abdirashid Yusuf Jibril (Somali: Cabdirashid Yuusuf Jibriil, Turkish: Abdiraşid Yusuf Cibril, Arabic: عبد الرشيد يوسف جبريل) is a Puntland politician and who served as the 9th speaker of Puntland of Representatives from 2019 to 2023.^[1]^[2]^[3]

Personal life

Jibril was born in the capital city of Togdheer, Burao and fled from the Somali Civil War in 1991.^[4]

Jibril hails from Warsangali sub-clan of Harti, Darod.He is from the Warsangeli clan.^[5]^[6]
