The African section of the 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup qualification will act as qualifiers for the 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup to be held in Brazil for national teams who are members of the Confederation of African Football (CAF). Four teams will qualify directly to join hosts Brazil and two teams will advance to the inter-confederation play-offs.[1]
Format
The African qualifiers commenced in February 2025 and will feature total three rounds of competition.
- Qualifying stage first round: The 32 teams ranked 7th and below played home-and-away two-legged ties.
- Qualifying stage second round: The 16 winners advanced to the second round, where they will be joined by the 6 teams that received a bye. The winners of the 11 second round home-and-away ties will qualify for the final tournament in Morocco.
- Final tournament: The final tournament is scheduled to take place in 21 March 2026. Twelve nations will be drawn into groups of four teams each to play single round-robin matches. The group winners and runners-up and the two best-ranked third-place teams will advance to the knockout phase to determine the four nations qualifying directly for the 2027 Women's World Cup and the two African representatives in the inter-confederation play-offs.

Inter-confederation play-offs
The two losers will join one team from OFC, UEFA and two each from CAF, CONCACAF, and CONCACAF in the inter-confederation play-offs. The teams will be ranked according to the FIFA Women's World Ranking, the winners of these matches qualifying for the 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup.
