2025 ICC Champions Trophy statistics

The 2025 ICC Champions Trophy was the ninth edition of the ICC Champions Trophy. It was hosted by Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates from 19 February to 9 March 2025.[1][2]

Notation

Team notation
  • (200/3) indicates that a team scored 200 runs for three wickets and the innings was closed, either due to a successful run chase or if no overs remained (or were able) to be bowled.
  • (200) indicates that a team scored 200 runs and was all out, either by losing all ten wickets or by having one or more batsmen unable to bat and losing the remaining wickets.
Batting notation
  • (100) indicates that a batsman scored 100 runs and was out.
  • (100*) indicates that a batsman scored 100 runs and was not out.
Bowling notation
  • (5/40) indicates that a bowler captured five wickets while giving away 40 runs.

Records

  • Four South African batters made half-centuries in an innings against Afghanistan on 21 February 2025, the second time four or more batters have reached 50 runs in the same innings in the Champions Trophy.[3]
  • England batter Ben Duckett set the record for the highest individual score in the Champions Trophy, scoring 165 against Australia on 22 February 2025. The innings was the first time that an individual innings of more than 150 runs had been compiled in the competition.[4][5]
  • England's total of 351/8 against Australia on 22 February 2025 was the highest total scored in the Champions Trophy. This was surpassed by Australia's total of 356/5 made later in the same match.[6]
  • Australian batter Josh Inglis scored the fastest-ever Champions Trophy century, reaching 100 runs in just 77 balls against England on 22 February 2025. His final score was 120 not out, made from 86 balls.[7]
  • Australia made the highest successful run-chase in any ICC one-day competition, scoring 356/5 against England on 22 February. In doing so they also broke the record for the highest team total in the Champions Trophy, surpassing the score of 351/8 made by England in the first innings of the same match.[8][6]
  • Afghanistan batter Ibrahim Zadran broke the record of Ben Duckett (165*) of highest individual scores in an innings in ICC Champions Trophy history scoring 177 against England on 26 February 2025.[9][10]
  • Australia broke the previous record for the fastest team fifty in Champions Trophy history by reaching the milestone in just 29 balls against Afghanistan on 28 February 2025.[11]
  • New Zealand's total of 362/6 against South Africa on 5 March 2025 was the highest-ever team total in the Champions Trophy.[12]

On 10 March 2025, the ICC announced its team of the tournament with Rachin Ravindra being named as player of the tournament for his all round performance throughout the tournament and Mitchell Santner as the captain of the team.[31]
