Due to their home venue, the Joseph Marien Stadium, not meeting UEFA requirements, Union Saint-Gilloise will play their European home games at another stadium. Initially, Union had an agreement with Den Dreef in Leuven with a view to competing in the Europa League, however, following their qualification for the Champions League, the club's CEO, Phillipe Bormans, stated that the club would reconsider their European venue and confirmed they also had an agreement to play at the King Baudouin Stadium if the club do decide against playing at Den Dreef.[13]
