The 2024 Rugby Championship[a] was the thirteenth edition of the annual Southern Hemisphere rugby union competition, involving Argentina, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. New Zealand was the defending champion.[5][6]

On 28 September, South Africa won the championship for the first time since 2019 after a 48–7 win against Argentina.[7][8]

New Zealand

On 8 August, Josh Lord was named in the team to face Argentina in Wellington.[24] George Bower was added to the squad ahead of the Round 3 match against South Africa. On 15 September, Ethan de Groot was called back into the squad and Fletcher Newell was ruled out due to a calf injury. George Bower will remain with the squad as injury cover.
