The 2024 Maryland Eastern Shore Hawks baseball team represented the University of Maryland Eastern Shore during the 2024 NCAA Division I baseball season in the Northeastern Conference under first year head coach Danny Acosta. The Hawks played their home games at Hawk Stadium.
The Hawks failed to make the 2024 Northeastern Conference Tournament, placing last in the conference with a record of 0 wins and 48 losses. This also was the first time in NCAA Division 1 history that a team finished a full season winless.[2]
The 2024 season was the first season following the departure of Head Coach Brian Hollamon, who left the club in 2023. As a result of Hollamon's departure, the University hired Danny Acosta, who had spent the previous 4 seasons with Iowa Lakes Community College as their head coach.[3] Acosta posted a 4-44 record with Iowa Lakes during the 2023 season.[4]
