The 2024 season is the 8th season in the history of FK RFS, all of which have come in the Latvian Higher League. In addition to the domestic league, the team is competing in the Latvian Cup, the UEFA Champions League, and the UEFA Europa League.

On 29 August, RFS became the first Baltic club to reach the main stage of the UEFA Europa League.[1]

Notes:
  1. ^ The 2024 Latvian Football Cup winners qualified for the Conference League second qualifying round. Since the cup winners (RFS) qualified based on league position, the Conference League spot was passed to the second-placed team, and the second Conference League first qualifying round spot was passed to the fourth-placed team.
  2. ^ On 19 April, Valmiera were deducted three points, with an additional six points and a suspended 25 points deduction being issued on 11 October due to licensing regulation breaches.[3][4]
  3. ^ Valmiera were relegated at the end of the season after being refused both Latvian Higher League and Latvian First League licenses; Jelgava were reprieved from relegation.[5]
