The 2024–25 season is Melbourne City Football Club's 15th season in the A-League Men; 11th since the club was taken over by the City Football Group. In addition to the domestic league, Melbourne City participated in this season's edition of the Australia Cup. The team is coached by Aurelio Vidmar after he was appointed as head coach on a full-time basis.[1]
