The 2024–25 Loyola Greyhounds women's basketball team represented Loyola University Maryland during the 2024–25 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Greyhounds, who were led by fourth-year head coach Danielle O'Banion, played their home games at Reitz Arena in Baltimore, Maryland as members of the Patriot League.

Previous season

The Greyhounds finished the 2023–24 season 16–15, 10–8 in Patriot League play, to finish in a three-way tie for second place.^[1] They defeated Lehigh,^[2] before falling to top-seeded and eventual tournament champions Holy Cross in the semifinals of the Patriot League tournament.^[3]

Preseason

On October 16, 2024, the Patriot League released their preseason coaches poll. Loyola was picked to finish first in the Patriot League regular season.^[4]
