The 2024–25 season was Shillong Lajong's 41st season in existence and their tenth season in the I-League, and first since 2018–19. In addition to the league, they also competed in the Super Cup and Durand Cup tournaments.^[1]^[2]^[3]^[4]

However, the AIFF appeal committee reverted it, that was again reverted back in favour of Inter Kashi by an appeal to Court of Arbitration of Sports.
