The 2011–12 FA Women's Cup is the 42nd season of the association football knockout competition.[1] 276 clubs competed for the years trophy.[2] The winners will not qualify for the UEFA Women's Champions League.[3] The current holders are now Birmingham City. They beat Chelsea 3–2 in a penalty shootout after a 2–2 draw in the final at Ashton Gate.[1]
