2000 NBA season may refer to:

• 1999–2000 NBA season, featuring the Los Angeles Lakers defeating the Indiana Pacers in 2000 NBA Finals, 4–2. Shaquille O'Neal won his lone regular season MVP award. This was the first championship each for O'Neal and Kobe Bryant and this was the commencement of the NBA's most recent three-peat. This was also Charles Barkley's final season in the NBA.

• 2000–01 NBA season, featuring the Los Angeles Lakers defeating the Philadelphia 76ers in 2001 NBA Finals, 4–1. Allen Iverson won his lone regular season MVP award. This was also Hakeem Olajuwon's final season with the Houston Rockets.
