Premise

The world stands on the brink as a runaway freighter rocket, containing high explosives, is due to detonate over London at midnight on New Year's Eve 1999.

"Interest mounts smoothy to a climax of high tension," wrote the Liverpool Echo.[3]

The Daily Telegraph felt "the dialogue was apt to be unsconsciously funny."[4]

The Observer felt it "seemed to lack that polish which is so essential if science fiction is to suspend you."[5]
