In the doubles final, Evert Lloyd and Wendy Turnbull downed Elise Burgin and Joanne Russell 6-2, 6-4. Burgin and Russell upset Mary Lou Piatek and Anne White 6-7 (2-7), 7-5, 7-6 (7-1) in a Sunday morning semifinal. The match was postponed from Saturday because of heavy rains that delayed the start of play for nearly 2 hours.
