Bunge lost the chance for a double celebration when she and partner Claudia Kohde were defeated by South Africans Elizabeth Gordon and Beverly Mould, 6-3, 6-4, in the doubles final after disposing of Americans Anne Smith and Candy Reynolds, 6-2, 5-7, 6-2, in the semis.
